About us

Boli means speech.

बोली, the way people talk. We started in one room above a stationery shop in Putalisadak in 2012, teaching hiragana to six students who wanted to work in Japan. Today we have five classrooms, two languages and a waiting list in September.

How we teach

Speak from day one.

Every class is 90 minutes: thirty of reading and grammar, thirty of listening, and thirty of speaking in pairs. Every second Friday is a mock exam, marked the same day, so nobody is surprised in the real one.

Questions

Asked at the front desk.

How long until I can pass JLPT N5?

Most students sit N5 after our three-month foundation course. The exam runs in July and December.

When is the next EPS-TOPIK exam?

The Korean government announces the dates; usually once or twice a year. Our intensive course starts six to eight weeks before each one.

Do you process visas?

No. We teach the language and help you prepare documents and interviews, but we are not a manpower or visa agency.

Can I change my shift?

Yes, once in the first two weeks, if there is a free seat in the other shift.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes: half in the first week, half at the start of the second month.
